United Lubavitcher Yeshiva launched a new website for the convenience of its student and parent body.
With the school’s new birthday website, parents can schedule a delivery of donuts for their son’s birthday. The donuts will arrive directly to Yeshiva on the day of the birthday, removing the hassle involved in the purchase and schlepping of the large bakery box to Yeshiva.
The site conveniently displays how many students are in the child’s class to help the parent decide the amount of donuts they would like to order. Parents can choose the icing and sprinkles for their order and on the morning of the birthday, the custom order of fresh donuts will await the birthday boy in Yeshiva.
This follows the pattern of Yeshiva’s ongoing initiatives that use the quick technological world we live in now, to make things simpler and smoother for parents and students.
The Seforim website launched for the beginning of the school year allowed parents to view the Seforim needed for the new year, make their selections, and purchase the Seforim, The Seforim were distributed to the Talmidim on the first day of Yeshiva, eliminating the added stress of having to carry heavy Seforim on the first day of Yeshiva.
Once COVID hit, Yeshiva spearheaded CHYeshiva.com, and provided a convenient and cheap way for students to obtain Chromebooks needed for remote learning. Yeshiva also facilitated a buy-back program allowing parents to easily drop off all the devices no longer needed for online learning once in-person learning resumed.
Yeshiva is always striving to make sure Talmidim are happy and excited to come to school. This year, due to COVID the water fountains had to be closed, so Yeshiva gave out personalized refillable water bottles to each student for a fun and exciting solution.
