By Lubavitcher Yeshiva of Crown Street
After seeing the social/emotional challenges some Talmidim face, the Rebbis and Principals of Lubavitcher Yeshiva have been working extremely hard to come up with creative solutions to make sure every boy is helped on their level to reach heights never thought imaginable!
Last summer, an idea was born to begin a series of films that speak of these important life lessons. Topics would include: healthy friendships, bullying, self-confidence, fears and many more.
Recently, after B”H successfully helping 2 Talmidim through a friendship that turned sour (due to a misunderstanding), we decided it was finally time to begin this project, and begin this series with a film (partially based on this incident), that will help children understand what a healthy friendship looks like!
B”H we have seen tremendous Hatzlacha while undertaking this massive project and with Hashem’s help, we were able to complete this professional film in just 3 weeks, in time for our Middos Tovos Auction! The Talmidim (and adults!) were glued to the screen, at times crying, at times laughing and at times even screaming: “No, don’t do that!”
But most importantly, Talmidim were determined to work on themselves to improve on the important lessons they had learned from this film!
