Talmidim from Lubavitcher Yeshiva grades 1, 2 and 3 gathered with their fathers and grandfathers for an inspiring and fun Melava Malka.
The evening began with the learning of a Sicha from the Rebbe regarding the importance of Yiddishe Chinuch. It was inspiring to hear the voices of more than 400 children and adults learning together in one room!
Talmidim in 1st grade then led the Rebbe’s Kapittel and Kapittel Chof for the safety and Hatzlacha of our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisroel which was followed with words of inspiration by Rabbi Y. Simpson.
One of the highlights of the Melava Malka, was the choir which included all the 2nd grade Talmidim. They sang 2 Niggunim – Napoleon’s March and the Rosh Chodesh Kislev Niggun.
For Napoleon’s March, there was a special dance – connected to the 3rd grade video production – which began with one group as the French, who got up and at first tried to prove that everything is in their power, but they fall back down and realize they are wrong. The Russians then get up and try proving everything is in their power, but they soon realize they are also wrong and fall back down as well.
Finally we have the Chassidim, who explain that really everything and all the power is from Hashem! They then also inspire the French and the Russians to realize this, as they all get up and march together in Hashem’s army – Tzivos Hashem.
The Talmidim then enjoyed a very exciting game show with questions on the Sicha and other fun questions related to Yeshiva.
And finally the event ended with the premier of the long awaited, much-anticipated video production titled “Russian Spy.”
Every single Talmid in 3rd grade was part of this professional film.
We look forward to sharing details very soon of when the film screening of this film will take place for the public.
Great job ETZ
