The Talmidim of United Lubavitcher Yeshiva celebrated Yud Tes Kislev, the Chag Hageula of the Alter Rebbe and Chassidus, each grade on their own level.
The 8th graders had their own Farbrengen with Rabbi Simpson and their Rebbis. Rabbi Simpson inspired the Bochurim with stories and practical lessons we can draw from this very special day.
Grades 5-7 had a special Yom Tov Seuda. At the Seuda, Rabbi Wilschanski shared a story and encouraged the Talmidim to take upon themselves Hachlatos Tovos on the powerful day of Rosh Hashana L’Chassidus. A special Yud Tes Kislev video presentation was played. The singing of Niggunim led into joyous dancing.
At the Yom Tov Seuda for Grades 2-4, Rabbi Karp held a special Yud Tes Kislev BINGO game. It was uplifing to watch the Talmidim test their Yud Tes Kislev trivia while enjoying this original BINGO game.
Pre1-A and first grade grade had their own Yom Tov Seuda with Niggunim and a story from Rabbi Goldstein. A palpable energy of unity was felt in the hall during the Niggunim when all the Talmidim and Rebbis sang together in one voice.
The preschool Kinderlach watched a special slideshow about Yud Tes Kislev and enjoyed a story by master storyteller, Rabbi Yossi Teleshevsky. The program concluded with lively dancing.
In the morning, before Shacharis, the Talmidim of the older grades were treated to a Chassidus Shiur by Rabbi Simpson in honor of Yud Tes Kislev. It was truly encouraging to see so many Talmidim arrive extra early to Yeshiva to participate in the Chassidus Shiur.
My son came home and told me is best part of the day was the story and slideshow from Rabbi Barnet!!!!!
