In honor of Gimmel Tammuz, world-renowned speaker Rabbi YY Schochet spent a week delivering 15 lectures in four different countries speaking about the leadership and ongoing impact of the Rebbe.
He addressed audiences in Denmark, Germany and The Netherlands before spending a long weekend in South Africa, where he inspired the Chabad community of Johannesburg with numerous talks, shiurim and farbrengens.
Rabbi Schochet, spiritual leader of the Mill Hill Synagogue in London and one of the most outspoken rabbis in Britain, concluded his whirlwind global tour in Cape Town with a final lecture followed by a Chassidic farbrengen.
Described by some Shluchim as “truly inspirational” and “a kiddush Hashem,” Rabbi Schochet’s talks covered a broad range of themes and topics including “The Rebbe’s Mission Statement,” “The Power of Happiness,” and “One People One Heart.”
