After a year’s hiatus, the Yeshiva Tzeirei Hashluchim in Tzfas has reopened and has begun a new year of classes at Campus Yisroel Arye Leib – Colel Chabad.
After undergoing reorganization by the Yeshiva administration, classes in Tzfat began yesterday under the leadership of Rabbi Zalman Kaplan.
The school year began in Chodesh Elul with classes taking place in Crown Heights and has now continued at its home base, the yeshiva campus Rabbi Yisroel Arye Leib – Colel Chabad in Tzfat, with 47 new students.
The students of Tzeirei Hashluchim, coming from all over the world, are carefully picked by the yeshiva administration, and iy”H we expect to see a very successful future.
Together with Rabbi Zalman Kaplan, who returned to Tzfat to lead the yeshiva after nine years of successful Shlichus in Montreal, the yeshiva has brought additional rabbis to join the staff, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Ben-Shimon of Montreal and Rabbi Shaul Greenfeld of New York.

What’s your source? Tomchei Tmimim in days of yore was VERY selective. Of course EVERY Bochur deserves a chance to be accepted to at least 1 of our Mosdos, but not every Yeshiva has to accept EVERYONE. If Chicago or Toronto accepted everyone its standards would drop. That’s why you have choices.
