New York City’s crowded Democratic primary for mayor is coming to a close on Tuesday, June 24.
Nearly a dozen candidates are on the ballot in the city’s ranked choice voting system that allows primary voters to rank up to five candidates.
Crown Heights United and Crown Heights PAC have announced their endorsements in the upcoming election.
They have endorsed Andrew Cuomo as their top choice for mayor, Zellnor Myrie as their #2 pick and Speaker Adrienne Adams as #3.
“It’s very important to rank all the candidates as follows: #1 Cuomo, #2 Zellnor, #3 Adams, to ensure Mamdani does not win,” they said.
“This election could come down to just a few thousand votes,” said Rabbi Yaacov Behrman of Crown Heights United. “It’s critical that we all show up. If you can’t vote, pick up the phone and call someone who can. The thought of Mamdani winning is terrifying.”
The groups also endorsed Mark Levine for NYC Comptroller, for Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, and Council Member Crystal Hudson for re-election to the City Council.

NYS AG Letisha James endorses Mandani and ranks him as #3, with her first two other choices being Adrieene Adams#1 and Brad Lander#2. Since Brad Lander and Adrienne Adams have no shot to win, it’s essentially a Mamdani endorsement with ranked choice voting.
