As mothers we know time is a precious commodity. While we know the Ruchnius’dike value of each moment, it can be hard to keep things simple and streamlined, especially on minimal sleep with little ones tugging at our skirts.
We know however that it ‘takes time to make time’ and now that the children are off in camp and our schedules are lighter ( aka no homework !!) it’s the perfect time to plan the year ahead for our Mikdash Ma’ats. Just like there was a seamless seder in the Mishkan, so too can we create those systems in our homes too. In other words now is the time to plan ahead for the school year so we can get personalized systems into place to help our homes run smoothly and to keep us more focused and less frazzled.
This Tuesday Yud Beis Tammuz / June 26th Levi Yitzchok Library is proud to host Rivka Caroline as she runs her popular ‘Leverage Your Summer Mikdash Ma’at Boot Camp” for mothers of all ages and stages.
She will hold our hands and help us review and personalize the systems every home needs to run in a more focused and less frazzled manner.
The bootcamp will teach you how to make things simpler, get out of your own way and decide to decide ahead of time, so when school comes around you can sit back and kvell as your systems take care of themselves…
The bootcamp will cover the following 15 systems :
Streamlined Home
#1 Systems 101
#2 Think like a CEO
#3 Laundry Systems
#4 Getting the children onboard
#5 Closing ceremonies
Sustainable Cooking Plans
#6 Breakfast Meal Plans
#7 Lunch Meal Plans
#8 Dinner Meal Plans
#9 Snack Plans
#10 Automated shopping lists
The Little People
#11 Morning schedule
#12 Homework Desk Set Up
# 13 Teeth brushing 101
# 14 Bedtime routine
# 15 Children’s Clothing
All recipients will receive a booklet to work from and personalize during the workshop so that all the systems ( even the super challenging ones!) will move from machshava into seamless action.
Rivka Caroline is a Shlucha from Key Biscayne, FL. Rivka is the author of ‘From Frazzled to Focused’ which was listed on the New York Times parenting blog @Motherlode as a Top Ten ‘must read’ for parents.
Since earning her Masters in Psychology Rivka has worked with hundreds of the busiest people in the universe. Rivka loves the relationship between Time management, Torah, Chassidus and Positive Psychology and firmly believes that it takes more effort to be disorganized than it does to be organized and practices what she preaches (most of the time) as a wife and mother of seven ka”h.
Bootcamp admission is $20 (which you will save the first month alone in your no more lost socks system). Scholarships/sliding scale available upon request.
