Following the wild success of Avremi and The Macabees, producer Chaim Hershkowitz, founder of Toveedo.com and filmmaker Menachem Silverstein, knew this was not a one-time collaboration as they had originally anticipated.
They came together for another round and delivered in spectacular fashion!
Avremi and the Mitzri continues to follow the main character Avremi, from the previous film, and his family. This time however one of Pharoah’s failed magicians has traveled forward in time and is trying to re-enslave all the yidden.
Sticking to Toveedo’s founding principles, there are Torah values to be learned, that are prominent throughout the entire movie as well as spellbounding amazing action and visual effects. Tying in themes of dated magic, which we know existed in ancient Mitzrayim, along with classic, science fiction time travel, to create an adventure that is perfect for the whole family!
The actors cast for this film were selected based on their ability to portray their characters flawlessly, and at the same time bring their own artistic interpretations and expression. The result is a fabulous ensemble of talented actors, who bring a perfect balance of hilarity, professionalism and uniqueness to the film.
Hershkowitz and Silverstein are the collaborating duo we have all been waiting for, and proving that yet again, they can bring high quality entertainment, without compromising core Jewish values.
