The Toronto Yeshiva was buzzing with excitement as news spread of the surprise return of the beloved Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Akiva Wagner.
The bochurim were overjoyed to have the Rosh Yeshiva back amongst them, after a year of absence due to health difficulties.
A grand farbrengen took place in the Yeshiva Zal after Shabbos Davening. Rabbi Wagner began with the Brocha She’hechiyonu on a new fruit. Indeed, this encapsulated the joy everyone felt that הגיענו לזמן הזה.
The Rosh Yeshiva farbrenged with the bochurim for many hours about what it means for a Chosid to travel to the Rebbe, leaving all who were present feeling uplifted, and it gave the bochurim the opportunity to spend quality time with their Rosh Yeshiva, taking in his words of guidance and inspiration.
Rabbi Wagner, who had been absent from the yeshiva for over a year, has made significant progress in his health journey. This is seen as a start of a new chapter for the Toronto Yeshiva and is a testament to the power of Tefila and positive thoughts.
The surprise return of Rabbi Wagner has brought a new sense of excitement and positivity to the Yeshiva. This visit serves as a symbol of hope and encouragement as they continue to pray for his full recovery.
All this comes after a month long Mivtza Hachona for Yud Shevat. The Yeshiva Bochrim have been strengthening their regular Sedorim, while adding many “Hashkaim” – early morning learning Sedorim, extra Mamorim, hours spent watching the Rebbe’s Yud Shevat Farbrengen, and many more Hachonos.
Please Continue Davening for Michoel Akiva Gershon Ben Rochel Basya for a Complete, Full and Speedy Recovery.
May it continue with the real Simcha of the ultimate Geula!!
