A Sefer Torah was completed Wednesday in memory of Shmuel Sarfati obm, son of Menachem Mendel and Rochel Sarfati, Shluchim in Poissy, France.
Shumel was a young Shliach who was killed in a car accident while doing Mivtzah Daled Minim two years ago on the first day of Sukkos.
Immediately after, friends of his parents took the initiative to start a Sefer Torah dedicated to unite the Shluchim around the world.
Family and friends of the Sarfati family were joined by Shluchim and Anash in the celebration which began with the writing of the final letters at at 580 Crown Street.
The Torah was then marched to 770 with music and dancing.
The Sefer torah will be used in the family’s Chabad House in Poissy, France.
Such a special family ! Amazing shluchim. May they only know of simchos from now on.
