The Weingarten family dedicated a new Torah on Sunday in memory of their husband and father, Matti Weingarten OBM.
Matti was known for his warm and caring nature. He was driven and determined and got things done in his own quiet way. He had a special respect for Torah and for Rabbonim and although he worked long hours and ran a successful business he kept regular shiurim and minyan. He was known for his honesty and was a true Bal Tzedakah and Machnis Orach.
His tragic and untimely passing left an indescribable void for all who knew him.
The Torah was begun at his 20th yartzeit on 3 Tishrei, 5781.
Family and friends gathered for the completion of the Torah at the Weingarten home. The Torah was led with singing and dancing to the Jewish Children’s Museum for Hakafos.
