At the Rebbe‘s Ohel gravesite in the Old Montefiore cemetery in Queens, all are treated equal. Even one of the world’s wealthiest Jews.
Benjamin Steinbruch, CEO of the Brazilian steel and iron company Companhia Siderurgica Nacional, was seen sitting in the guest tent and writing his letter to the Rebbe.
He was flanked by his rabbi and friend, Rabbi Yossi Schildkraut, Director of Beit Chabad Itaim in Sao Paulo, and Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch.
Inside the Ohel, the man the Harvard Business Review named one of the Best-Performing CEOs in the World lit a candle and read Tehillim.
Steinbruch later continued to the Crown Heights neighborhood where he met Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos who oversees the Kinus Hashluchim, Chabad on Campus and the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute.
The executive enjoyed lunch at Mendy’s Deli in the Jewish Children’s Museum while hearing more about the global outreach and impact of the Chabad-Lubavitch movement.
he better leave New York real fast before the Wall Street protesters will rob what’s left of his his fortune and if they don’t succeed the guy acting as President surely will>
