An evening of achdus and inspiration in honor of the yartzeits of Rochie (nee Tauber) Paley obm, Mushky Shmueli obm and Shternie Shmueli obm will be held on Thursday at the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights.
The event for women and girls will take place on Thursday, July 29, 18 Av, at 7:00PM.
A new bookcase of Seforim will be dedicated in their memories to the JCM library, which has been sponsored by friends of Rochie, Mushky and Shternie.
Noted author and illustrator Mrs. Aidel Backman will introduce the launch of The Living Library Project in their memories as well.
Esti of ‘Whimsical Confections’ will demonstrate the art of cookie and cake decoration.
Rochie Paley obm was a dedicated Crown Heights wife and mother who fell ill suddenly and passed away on the 13th of Av, 5768, at the age of 26.
Sisters Shterna obm and Chaya Shmueli obm passed away in a tragic accident in the summer of 2004 at the ages of 12 and 14.
