In New York City, today is election day to choose members of the City Council and the local Supreme Court. Specifics regarding who is running within what district depend on where you are registered but keep in mind that most people will get to vote for a new Justice of the Supreme Court, perhaps a Judge of the Civil Court and more.
There are also two city-wide proposals alongside a yes/no option.
The Jewish Future Alliance’s Statement on Voting:
Today, Tuesday, November 7th, is Election Day in Crown Heights. While our elected officials are running unopposed, it is still important to exercise your right to vote and ensure that the Anash community is actively participating in the electoral process. Even in an uncontested race, a strong voter turnout sends a powerful message, especially in the current atmosphere.
Please make sure to encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to vote on Tuesday. The polling stations will be open from 6 AM to 9 PM.
The Jewish Future Alliance (JFA) is a nonprofit organization and does not endorse any specific candidate.
Crown Heights United Endorsement:
All of our elected representatives are running unopposed, but we encourage you to cast your vote for the following Frum candidates
Saul Stein
Rachel Frier
(For judge)
We also recommend voting “NO” on the two ballot proposals located on the back of the ballot.

Some of us do get up early and actually go to work!!!!!!!! and would have liked to vote at 6AM. Why is this information never posted the day BEFORE an election????
It’s all available online well ahead of time…
