A Siyum Sefer Torah celebration will unite Crown Heights residents and guests on the sacred day of Gimmel Tammuz, this Thursday.
The Spritzer family is generously donating a Torah in honor of their beloved parents, R’ Yaakov and Rochel Spritzer, who will be gracing the occasion with their presence.
This momentous occasion’s culmination will begin at 11:30 AM in the Spritzer family home at 530 Montgomery Street. There, the final letters of the Torah will be inscribed, marking the completion of this Mitzvah.
A lively procession will leave from their home at 1:00 PM towards the main shul of 770 Eastern Parkway. Accompanied by song and dance, the Torah will be escorted with utmost reverence and delight.
As the procession arrives at 770, the celebratory Hakafos will commence at 2:00 PM. Participants will be given the honor of reciting the Pesukim and welcoming the new Torah, while embracing the existing ones housed within the Shul.
The family invited friends, residents and guests alike, in celebrating this special occasion.
