Rabbi Sholom Ber Schapiro, Director of the Nissan Mindel Publications, will share on his program “Historic Treasures” unknown details surrounding the events of Hei Teves when stollen Chabad seforim were returned.
Each program shares ‘treasures’ from the archives of Rabbi Schapiro’s father-in-law, Rabbi Dr. Nissan Mindel OBM, a prolific writer who served as a personal secretary of the 6th and 7th Chabad Rebbes.
The program uncovers fascinating stories, rare artifacts and precious documents from the Chabad-Lubavitch movement.
In the next five programs, Rabbi Schapiro will describe in fascinating detail some of the trips which Rabbi Mindel took to Russia (1958-1988) – on his various missions for the Rebbe, in connection with the manuscripts and books of the Rabbeim.
These trips to Russia were among many missions to places around the world that the Rabbeim sent Rabbi Mindel during the decades of his service to them.
