On Gimmel Tammuz, two Tzivos Hashem base commanders were talking about how we can take Tzivos Hashem to the next level.
The solution they came up with was simple and obvious, yet very powerful.
The Rebbe, the “Head General” of Tzivos Hashem, spent 12 years – from the founding of Tzivos Hashem in 5741 – training the “soldiers” with hundreds of sichos that he personally said to the children.
Today we have the merit and responsibility to be the general’s mouthpiece to train the children of today, the base commanders said.
“But, how can we train the children without first training ourselves?” one asked the other.
And so, they decided to start a weekly shiur for all the Tzivos Hashem Base Commanders around the world, on the Sicha of the week from the sefer “Der Rebbe Ret Tzu kinder.”
This week’s shiur was given by Rabbi Shais Taub.
“It was incredible,” the Base Commanders said. “Rabbi Taub’s introduction was so to the point. The way he explained the structure of the sicha was so powerful. And of course, the message is so relevant.”
Below you will find a summary. But to truly appreciate the sicha, please watch the video.

The Torah
The Yidden were in a dark place (the Midbar). They had just done something that is inappropriate, they were feeling sad and losing their life. Yet Moshe told them to look up to Hashem and make your heart subservient to Him and you will live. Indeed they did and actually went into Eretz Yisroel in that same year.
The Horoah
We are in a dark place. We are in golus. But our Moshe is assuring us that if we look up to Hashem and make our hearts subservient to Him and do what Hashen wants in thought, speech and action with Simcha and lebedikeit and lichtikeit, and help other keep the Torah beshlimus, then we will have true life even while we are in golus and we will very soon enter Eretz Yisroel with Moshiach.
The sicha seems so simple but truly is so powerful. Indeed a heavy order.
Training
After we do an avaira the Yerzer Hora makes us feel like we are in a dark place – we look down, feel frustrated and upset. This is his trick. But our commander in chief gave us the trick how to win him. We have to be happy we have to be excited and shine. By knowing that we can look up to Hashem and dedicate our selves to Him and He will give us life and ultimately the geulah.
Thank you Rabbi Mendel Levin and Rabbi Yossi Teleshevsky for starting this Shiur. Thank you Rabbi Shais Taub for giving over the message in such a beautiful way.
Looking forward to next week.
