from the fact that the original shabbos achdus was bechukosai (shabbos mevorchim sivan) it obviously shows that shabbos achdus was connected to the shabbos before rosh chodesh sivan when the yidden encamped k’ish echad b’laiv echad not the shabbos before shavuos. meaning the farbrengen was meant to be in the shabbos that minay misbarchin kulo yomin the shabos preceding the auspicious day which we try to internalize to our practical day to day lives. so yes its wonderful to have shabbos achdus and whenever it does take place it should be poel and in an everlasting manner but i think… Read more »
