With a high level of learning and a focus on shlichus, the Smicha Yeshivas Hashluchim in Manhattan is gearing up for its third, successful year, and is offering a unique opportunity for serious bochurim.
Located on the Upper West Side, the bochurim are fully invested in both their learning and teaching. A full-time staff comprised of Rabbi Yossi Schmukler and Rabbi Dovber Dechter is on hand to ensure that things run smoothly, the bochurim are learning and growing, and that each bochur has the opportunity to get the most from his year.
Time outside of learning is spent doing meaningful shlichus and giving shiurim, allowing the bochurim to appreciate their role and value as Chassidim. They also receive the chance to develop their chassidus skills by teaching it to others who don’t have the same exposure as the bochurim.
Being located in New York City means a wide variety of outside rabbonim are able to come and give shiurim on contemporary halachic issues, while seeing how halacha plays a role and directs all areas of life brings a new appreciation for all dimensions of Torah. This is something one takes with them no matter which path they choose in the future.
With restaurant-quality nutritious food and beautiful accommodations, the bochurim are able to focus completely on their learning and shlichus in comfort.
There are still a few spots left for bochurim who are serious about learning and shlichus to take advantage of this opportunity.

As a member of the local Manhattan community, one of the most impressive parts of the Yeshivah/Semicha program, was the fact that most of the year, almost every morning the boys were up bright and early, where else could you find a group of post Yeshivah Boys up each and every morning before 7:00 AM for Minyan.
