A delegation of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, an intergovernmental economic organization with 35 member countries known as the OECD, paid a special visit to Kfar Chabad.
They met with the directors of the unique Ohalei Tmimim Yeshiva led by Rabbi Shmuel Raynitz accompanied by the current and formers CEOs of ATID educational network Menashe Samira and Amiad Gurevitz, and Shuli Eyal, head of the Youth apprenticeships department in Israel’s Ministry of Labor.
The delegation left to the branch of Caterpillar Inc., the U.S.-based heavy-equipment company, in the city of Holon.
There they watched the yeshiva students yeshiva students presenting the practical knowledge they gained in the autotronics classes in the Yeshiva, on Engines located in the factory’s workshop.
Raynitz told the group the idea behind the Yeshiva of combining Torah study and Chassidus philosophy with trades, as the Rebbe instructed the administration of the ‘Beit Sefer LeMelacha’ for the children of Anash back in 5712.
Raynitz thanked Yossi Elituv for his ongoing support of the Yeshiva.
Menashe Samira presented the guests with the Yeshiva’s professional program, and the network’s large investment in the Chassidic institute attended by pupils from all over the country.
The shluchim market is quickly saturating, and we need more “Torah with Kemach” so parents will be able to pay with “Kemach” for those who teach their children “Torah”!
