A verdict by Judge Harriet L. Thompson confirmed exclusive rights to control and manage the synagogue at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, New York, to Agudas Chassidei Chabad and Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch.
A key factor in the courtcase were the documents from when the Rebbe personally restructured Agudas Chassidei Chabad and Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch.
In her decision, Judge Thompson cited the testimony of attorney Mr. Nahum Gordon, who was the lawyer who spoke directly with the Rebbe and drew up these documents.
In this excerpt of a 2012 interview released by Lubavitch World Headquarters, Mr. Gordon speaks of his interactions with the Rebbe in drafting his will and in the revitalization of Lubavitch’s three central organizations.
The interview was conducted by JEM’s My Encounter with the Rebbe project, and is copyright by Jewish Educational Media.
this makes it very clear what the rebbe wishes were!
What a role model the Rebbe is. B”H
