What difference does it make.
April 2, 2012 7:21 am

After reading the article and reading some of the comments, it seem that a lot of people are more concerned that it was Jew’s who were murdered then the murder itself. Yes it’s a terrable thing that these people were killed but who cares if they were Jew’s or not.

Is this another sign of a Holocaust?
March 22, 2012 4:10 am

I once read somewhere that someone asked the Rebbe if another Holocaust can occur. The Rebbe replied ‘tomorrow.’
Can anyone confirm this article and what about the Rebbe’s prophesy of Geulah? I don’t mean to start a bedlam but we must be prepared.

To all those who say “say ad mosai!” It might help you but it is not REALLY helping! I, personally do not feel comfort to this atrocious crime, by saying “until when?”. I think we try to strengthen ourselves, b’ruchnius, by taking on more hachlatos, whatever it is, each person to his or herself.
So, to start, I will make a hachloto.
Please do too, as it will surely arose Hashem’s mercy and put an end to all this crime and hate.

Thank you,

Comment #2 was clearly trying to point out what he or she thought was a factual error and was clearly Not trying to say that it doesn’t matter because they were not Chabad. Please use your brains when reading comments.

To 32 your information is not backed by fact
March 20, 2012 4:56 am

The more guns there are around, the more accidents and spontaneous shootings will ch”v occur. Real life doesn’t work according to a Hollywood script. Besides, even if one shoots in self defense he could be arrested and convicted of manslaughter.

What nonesense! Of course the job of police is to prevent crimes. I know that doesn’t fit your pro gun agenda but it is the truth.

@22, guns DO save lives!
March 19, 2012 11:39 pm

Before the infitida, the arabs tried killing people in crowded shopping centers with guns. Until they learned the lesson that most Israeli’s are packing heat. That is when they switched to strapping bombs onto themselves. Any city with strict gun control laws is usually one where crime is rampant. Look at what happened here. Gun sales sore through the roof after BO was elected. And surprise … crime went down in those cities!!!! Why? Cuz the would be robber has no idea who is loaded and who is a fool. I am proud to say that I pack heat and… Read more »

The fact that Jewish people are murdered in cold blood in an international travesty (and as Mr. Netanyahu pointed out, why doesn’t the UN condemn this?!) Second, for all those discussing whether or not it is a Chabad school: There are 2 school in the city. A Chabad preschool for the younger kids and an elementary school Otzar Hatorah for the older kids. The precious souls who were gunned down were waiting for the bus to take them to the Chabad preschool. So why mention this (and why did COL make a title mentioning Chabad)? To show us how close… Read more »

tragedy
March 19, 2012 7:07 pm

Does the fact that they were “heading to Chabad” play any role in the magnitude of the tragedy!?

Arms!
March 19, 2012 6:52 pm

the right to arms!

Spiritual & Physical! (Tfilin & Licences guns)

THE LETZER DOR SAYS.......
March 19, 2012 6:35 pm

The children were from Otzar Hatorah, a frum but not chabad school. Same jewish blood nonethless. As Eli Wiesel said, Aushwitz was built by words not bricks. France is passing law agianst shechita, against muslims, as is switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Holland. This ferments anti semitism and racial hatred. It starts with words, then books, then CV people.

moshiach now!!
March 19, 2012 6:24 pm

This is sooo sad!!! So many terrible tragedies are happening these days and it’s not ok! We need to daven and beg for moshiach right away because there’s nothing else we can do!!!

sorry but you don’t think like a chossid… boruch Hashem, we, lubavitchers from France, are not so closed minded!!
You cannot even imagine the pain that we feel in our hearts…. our soul and our eyes cry… and, you, oversea, should feel the same because they are your brothers. Please next time don’t post… you just increased my pain

Excuse Me? No.2
March 19, 2012 5:49 pm

How dare you! Jewish people just got killed and you are like:
Oh, its not a chabad school, bla bla bla.
Why would you say that!
Inconsiderate, its like you dont really care.
Geez, people these days!

terrible tragedy! Moshiach NOW!
March 19, 2012 5:45 pm
Not weapons for every fool, but reliable security guards
March 19, 2012 5:27 pm

It would be impractical, futile, and dangerous for every adult to carry a weapon. Better there should be competent security guards and video cameras and other strategies set in place. The same gunman apparently attacked and killed some soldiers earlier. Their weapons didn’t help THEM!

Ther is no sense in this horrific tragedy.
March 19, 2012 5:04 pm

So sorry for the victims…Terrible! May the wounded have a complete recovery!

Lubavitch or Jewish is there a difference
March 19, 2012 4:58 pm

If you really want Moshiach just remember they were Yidden. Heilige Yiddishe Kinderlach. And no amount of police or right to bear arms can protect us only Hashem can.

Mezuza and tefilin MUST be check!!!

What a horror!
March 19, 2012 2:05 pm

I’m shocked and saddened.
“Ha’makom yenahem etkhem betokh she’ar avelei Tziyonvi’Yerushalayim.”
Mr. Ehud Barak’s comment was sad…weak and washy. Where is his ‘Ahavas Yisroel?’ This proves he’s no leader…no heart.

March 19, 2012 1:53 pm

the article says the event happened in front of a high school and the young children who were victims were waiting to be taken to a Kindergarten.

March 19, 2012 1:53 pm

read the info properly!
this is a high school and the 3 and 6 years old were waiting for their buses to go to their school who happened to be a lubavitcher gan!

read the article again

they children were killed outside the Ozar Hatorah high school

But “The children were waiting for a bus to take them to the Chabad-Lubavitch–run Gan Rashi elementary school.”

#2??
March 19, 2012 1:45 pm

What difference does it make? It’s a jewish school!!!
I did not appreciate the heading of this article either- a tragedy does not have to be “owned” by chabad in order for us to feel compassion towards our fellow jews.
May Hashem avenge the blood of those slain, and may the wounded have a complete recovery!

March 19, 2012 1:38 pm

You are correct. The second admendment in the US,to bear arms and Protect Jewish schools, and all Jewish institutions. The police cant always get there on time. That admendment is for all citizens who respect the law,of bearing arms. Say tehillim for this trajic incident. BH, JT

March 19, 2012 1:38 pm

#1 is 100% correct the RIGHT to bear arms shouldn’t be considered political, it should be a basic human RIGHT.

#2 It’s what’s know as a community school, a lot of the staff are Lubavitcher’s.

school
March 19, 2012 12:33 pm

i m sorry ,but it’s not a chabad school!!!

The only way
March 19, 2012 12:24 pm

we need to wake up the police cannot be everywhere at once when we need them. we need to demand that our right to keep and BEAR arms be recognized so that we can defend ourselves if need be . time and time again we see that and armed citizens response is the best deterrence against such attacks
