Dear friends,
The importance of a Mikvah is well documented throughout the Torah and is a notion that BH is near and dear to all of us.
In a Sicha from 1981, the Rebbe emphasized that a Mikvah ought to be beautiful: “ביז בגשמיות כפשוטה”
Regrettably, to see an emphasis on beauty and luxury when it comes to Mikvaos is less pertinent.
It is with that in mind that we set out to build this incredible, beautiful, and luxurious Mikvah.
As a community, we can clearly see the ripple effect.
This Mikvah is special, and the impact is not limited to those immediately affected.
Indeed, it brings a light into the home, restores so much prestige to the incredibly important laws of Taharas Hamishpacha, and has a real and practical effect on generations to come.
Generations of Yiddishe children, bringing joy and light into our community, and our many communities throughout the world.
The first-hand accounts we hear from users of the Mikvah are inspiring, and I’ll share 2 of those accounts here.
1 –
There was a woman in our community, to whom the Mitzvah of Taharas Hamishpacha was not so important.
Shortly after her wedding, her new husband spoke to her about the newly opened Mei Chaya Mushka, and she decided to go, albeit reluctantly.
The physical beauty and luxury of the Mikvah were an immediate eye-opener for her, and the exemplary service she received from the dedicated staff, as she reported to her husband, was “above and beyond” her expectations.
Indeed, she was inspired with a renewed sense of pride in a crucial Mitzvah, which previously was not so relatable to her.
2 –
There was a woman who moved away from Crown Heights with her small family just a few short years ago, and regrettably, her new home had less than desirable Mikvah accommodations.
Having experienced such luxury and service for the few years she spent in Crown Heights, the decision was made to fly into New York to use Mikvah Mei Chaya Mushka. “I am Baruch Hashem blessed with a beautiful family, and I attribute so much of those Brachos to Mikvah Mei Chaya Mushka,” she said.
Now entering its 10th year of service to our community, the Mikvah is in need of regular maintenance and upgrades, including the purchase of a new boiler.
Our auction is live, and you have the chance to win some really incredible prizes while supporting such a beautiful cause!
The budget for this Mikvah’s annual upkeep and maintenance is considerable, but I can think of no better place to invest.
Invest in our collective future!
May we all be bentched with בני, חיי, מזוני רויחי in this incredible merit!

It is thanks to mikvah Mei Chaya Mushka that I have taught 20 women to use the mikvah and invested a lot of work and money to renovate and keep our mikvah clean in our makom hashlichus. I was so so so inspired by mikvah Mei Chaya Mushka when I lived in crown heights that I knew we had to bring it to the community we live in now. I am absolutely grateful for the work u do and your trained mikvah attendants. If I had a lot of $ I’d be one of your supporters but what I can… Read more »
this is the best Mikvah i have ever been too . its world class luxury plus the fact that its small and personal service just takes it over the top ( i dont like huge mikvahs with tons of rooms so this is amazing for me ) . The women who work here are super kind and caring . I feel like they’re my family
