As hundreds of Chabad communities around the world are looking beyond the usual hectic pre-Pesach rush of activity and investing incredible focus and attention on celebrating the Rebbe’s 120 birthday, a few USA communities are adding an extra flavor to the commemorations, bringing a message from South Africa, with the unique Brocho from the Rebbe to his community, to add to the celebrations.
Senior South African Shliach, Rabbi Yossy Goldman, who has recently been appointed Rabbi Emeritus for Life of the iconic Sydenham Shul in Johannesburg and is the President of the South African Rabbinical Association, will be in North America for Pesach this year and will be appearing in multiple cities in person in the USA this year in honor of Yud Alef Nissan.
A public speaker in high demand, he will be in Boston on Shabbos Hagodol. Rabbi Dan Rodkin is hosting a full Shabbaton with communal meals and Rabbi Yossy and Rebbetzin Rochel Goldman are the featured guests. On Motzoei Shabbos, the theme of “The Faithful Shepherd” is dedicated to the Rebbe’s 120th.
Then, on Sunday, 9 Nissan, Rabbis Mendel Dubrawsky and Moshe Naparstek of Dallas, Texas will welcome Rabbi Goldman who will address the subject of “Love & Leadership: The Rebbe’s Philosophy of Chabad Outreach.” Today, many organizations are involved in Outreach. This talk will explore the uniqueness of the Chabad school of Outreach as established and developed by the Rebbe.
There may still be a possibility of bringing Rabbi Goldman to other communities, but please hurry and contact [email protected] urgently.
