On this day in 1979 the Rebbe went to visit the pop-up gallery of famed artist, Boruch Nachshon of Chevron, Israel.
Beyond suggesting that Nachson open the gallery, the Rebbe advised him where to hold the exhibit and said he would personally come to the grand opening.
Nachson relates how during his visit, the Rebbe browsed the paintings, commenting on the nuances in many of the portrayals. Before leaving the Rebbe offered advice on how to best sell the paintings.
You can watch this video of Baruch Nachson recounting this special event.
