Welcome to Monday Torah on COLlive.com. Tonight, Rabbi YY Jacobson, a world renowned lecturer and spiritual leader of Congregation Bais Shmuel Chabad in
Brooklyn, explores “The Pain and Miracle of Child Birth.”
He discusses the Torah laws governing this process and why do many women and some men go into depression after childbirth? Why is the impurity after giving birth to a daughter longer than after giving birth to a son? Why does a woman have to bring a “sin offering” after childbirth–why is mesiras nefesh called a “sin?!”
The weekly class is presented by TheYeshiva.net.

Answer to #1:
Because according to some opinions, graves of tzaddikim do not have tumah at all! It is not there is less tumah there; it is not since tzaddikim “even when they pass away are considered living” (Talmud Berachos 17), hence, their graves according to some views don’t have ANY tumah.
We would like to bring down Rabbi YY Jacobson can anyone give me info as to how to do it does anyone have his email or phone#
thanx chanie
” The husbands think the pain of childbirth is in their ears.” -A man.
If the more holy, the more impurity then why can Cohanim go to the graves of the holy but not the ordinary? Thank you. Sarah
