Answer to #1:
Because according to some opinions, graves of tzaddikim do not have tumah at all! It is not there is less tumah there; it is not since tzaddikim “even when they pass away are considered living” (Talmud Berachos 17), hence, their graves according to some views don’t have ANY tumah.

If the more holy, the more impurity then why can Cohanim go to the graves of the holy but not the ordinary? Thank you. Sarah
