A huge crowd of 15,000 men, women and children united at 770 Eastern Parkway on Sunday for the historic Mega Yud Alef Nissan event to celebrate the 120th birthday of the Rebbe.
An all star lineup of singers performed Niggunim of the Rebbe’s birthdays from throughout the years, including Avraham Fried, Benny Friedman, Mendi Jerufi, Eli Marcus and Avi Piamenta.
Speakers included Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, Rabbi Dov Greenberg, director of Chabad on Campus at Stanford University, Rabbi Moshe Moscovitz from Kharkov and Rabbi Sholom Gottlieb from Nikolayev, our Rebbe’s own hometown.
The Yud Aleph Nissan event is a joint effort of the CIG, Bais Shmuel – Chabad, MASK Parents and Tzivos Hashem. COLlive.com is also a proud sponsor.
