At a moving yartzeit event last week in Baltimore, a tribute video was shown highlighting the life and legacy of beloved special educator Mrs. Miriam Mintz a”h.
The event was attended by close to 500 people and featured remarks by Rabbi Shais Taub, alongside local rabbanim and family members. It was a heartfelt evening marking one year since Miriam’s passing.
The film documents Miriam’s unwavering dedication to her students, her unexpected journey to marriage, and her plans to go on Shlichus — despite not having grown up in that world. It also reflects on her sudden passing and the launch of a groundbreaking initiative now being built in her memory.
The video moved many to tears and continues to inspire all who watch it.

WOW!!
Positively inspiring.
Thank you for posting this video!!
I was staff in Camp Simcha same time that Miriam was. She was in charge of different craft workshops. The way she dealt with everyone with such patience and warmth and made u feel like she has all the time in the world for you, is really unforgettable. She was always hectic – running around talking to everyone, helping others, and sharing kind words. May her neshama have an aliyah!
