9,418 people voted for their color preference of this year’s Great Parade T-shirts with the winning color ahead by 1,112 votes.
At the final count, the color chosen by the public was BLUE!
The T-shirts are now being printed and can be purchased with your reservation by logging onto thegreatparade.com.
Pick up for the general public will take place on Friday, May 20 in front of the Jewish Children’s Museum from 10am. Schools will be able to collect theirs from Wednesday May, 18 till Friday May 20, from 10am -5pm, location to be announced.
Those children who have reserved their place through their school will receive their T-shirts from their school.
The Great Parade is a joint project of NCFJE and Tzivos Hashem.

In high school I did a “science experiment” to find out the favorite color of people of different ages and genders, ages 6 to adult. BLUE was a favorite color of nearly 40% of males and females. So I wasn’t surprised that it won this contest!!

Isn’t there a way for people coming to the parade who don’t live in Crown Heights and don’t have the time Erev Shabbos to come pick up the t-shirt to still get it the day of the parade?
