The Heart of Frankel Shul
One time Reb Garfinkel was found crying in Shul on Shabbos. He was asked what was wrong, He said I am crying happy tears. Why? Because after the war I wasn’t sure if I would ever see jewish children playing in Shul. And when I see children In Frankel Shul I am so overcome with emotions I cant help by cry. Also he used to stand all of Rosh Hashana & Yom Kippur. And I believe he had the same minhag the week of Aseres Yemei Teshuvah! Nothing like the Purim masquerade!!
I still remember the candy he woukd give us each shabbos.
His smile was contagious!
His Hachnos orchim was an example to learn from
His learning inspired others to learn too!!!
His love for Hashem, he passed on to us!!!
His love for all klal yisrael is one we can all learn from him.

After Rabbi Frankel, it’s founding Rabbi.
My Father Rabbi Flint A”H gave a bi weekly Gemara shiur at this shul for many years.
Between him using the Mikvha and the Gemara shiur we heard “Fraenkel shul” daily in our home. Much hatzlocha!
