Dear community,
I feel the need to openly thank a special organization and its incredible volunteers.
Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights, who in a most discreet and respectful manner helped my family during my husband’s hospitalization.
The volunteers were gracious and kind. Always willing to go the extra mile.
From doing my grocery or Pesach shopping to picking up necessary things from my kids’ school. Some would check up on me daily. Nothing was a big deal. When they went to the store themselves they would check in to see if I needed something last minute.
While it’s not easy being on the receiving end, when toys my children loved showed up at our door, it made all the difference. Bikur Cholim coordinators took the time to not only send toys but to ask which ones my children would like.
Bringing much-needed joy during this time. In these challenging times when a check arrived in the mail, it added another layer of assurance that they were there for me in any way I would need. I am truly grateful and amazed and I look forward to volunteering for them in the future.
Sincerely, Devorie Zeitlin
The volunteers and coordinators of Bikur cholim CH are the most amazing, dedicated people. They rarely get any recognition for their work because the situations where they are involved are so private and sensitive. Kudos to Mrs Zeitlin for being willing to bring the important work of this organization to our attention.
And nicely said. So heartwarming to hear of all the good that goes on in this community
Thank you for sharing this is so amazing
This organization should be on every banner in CH!! they are truly family to everyone they help! they think of everything to help the families in every way they can.
My friend was helped, the meals were gourmet, they sent a huge box of toys for the kids, hundreds of dollars, besides for actual help with arrangements, doctors etc.
May your family only know of simchas! Moshiach Now!!!!
So sorry to hear what you and your children went through, but very happy that you had such a wonderful ending!
