New York State Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani, 33, has won the Democratic primary for New York City Mayor, defeating Andrew Cuomo. Mamdani, who represents Queens, identifies as a democratic socialist and has concerned the Jewish community over his support for anti-Israel actions.
True to the saying “Tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are,” here is how some of his supporters reacted to his win:

There were lots of others, known friends of ours, who supported him and cheered his victory too. (And in the years since then, they have been vindicated.) Which friend of ours has cheered Mamdani’s win? That’s what should tell you something.

Yesterday’s election was the Democratic primary. Eric Adams changed his affiliation from Democrat to Independent (to give himself a better chance of winning in the general election).
So to say that “at least BP voted for Adams” is entirely inaccurate.
In the primary, Cuomo was the only one who had a real chance against Mamdani, and therefore Crown Heights voted for him.

It does not clarify anything. The point of the article is Tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are. Well Zohran Mamdani says bad things but Cuomo did very bad things. Discriminating against Jewish communities, killing elderly Jewish people and other immoral behaviour. Actions speak louder then words and crown Heights ‘leaders’ support this individual.
One man says bad things. The other man does bad things.

Adams has not run yet; he will be running in the general election in November
This guy has nothing in common with the average NYC Arab/Muslim supermarket owner. Economically his socialism woild be a disaster. Plus, he supports perversion, his personal life stinks, and he is a Shiite. Also, many Imams have no problem, at least theoretically, with Religious Jewish authority over the holy land.
