A special celebration took place at the Great Synagogue in Tel Aviv recently to celebrate 100 years since its founding. The Shul is one of the prominent landmarks of Jewish life in Tel Aviv, attracting visitors from all walks of life.
The event was graced by the presence of the President of Israel, Mr. Isaac Herzog, and other distinguished guests, including the former Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Israel Meir Lau, the Mayor of Tel Aviv, Mr. Ron Huldai, the Rabbi of Tel Aviv, Rabbi Zvadia Cohen, and the Rabbi of the Great Synagogue, Rabbi Yitzhak Bar Ze’ev. They were all welcomed by the president of the Shul, Mr. Shlomo Pivko.
Yishai Lapidot, a popular Israeli singer and broadcaster, moderated the event while singer Shuli Rand and cantor Nissim Saal moved the audience with their stirring voices.
The celebration was open to the general public and attracted both veteran congregants and rabbis, as well as well-known public figures.
The impressive production was led by producer Yitzhak Rashi, and the stunning photo gallery was presented by photographer Chaim Tuito.
