Chabad of Dix Hills, Long Island, led by Rabbi Yaakov Saacks, awarded 20 local teens for community service on Wednesday, May 25.
At an event at the Chai Center Chabad House, the teens, who have participated in various volunteer activities, received certificates of service. 3 teens were awarded grand prizes for their work.
“Each of these teens have made a difference in countless lives and are dedicated to continuing their important work,” said Rabbi Yaakov Saacks. “They are our future and they deserve to be recognized for their community service.”
