As reported on COLlive, a new photo book portraying the Yomim Tovim with the Rebbe was gifted to hundreds of teachers in Lubavitch educational institutions.
Grateful teachers have thanked JEM for the book, titled “Tishrei in Lubavitch,” which they have been sharing with their students.
“My students really enjoyed Tishrei in Lubavitch, it made everything we talk about seem so much more relatable. Thank you!” said Chana Tunk, a teacher in Morristown, NJ.
“I would like to say a big thank you for the beautiful photo book you so generously shared with us,” said Mrs. Laky Frimerman. “I am a teacher in Postville, IA and was so touched when I received this gift. It is an absolutely gorgeous book, a real treasure! In today’s times when everything is shared electronically, it was so nice to have this book during Yom Tov to look at and connect to the Rebbe! I cannot wait to continue to use this treasure trove the rest of Tishrei.”
The book, which walks the reader through a Tishrei with the Rebbe through over 200 masterfully curated photos, is accompanied by insightful captions and commentaries.
Principal of Oholei Torah elementary school, Rabbi Yehoshua Lustig, took the opportunity to thank JEM for their work all year round.
“Thank you very much for the beautiful and meaningful gift we received,” said Rabbi Lustig, “and while we’re at it, thank you for everything you do all year round. We obviously show the weekly Living Torah in our classes each week. At this point we all take it for granted that we will have a weekly video with Sichos and footage that’s applicable for that week, but we do owe you a huge Yasher Koach for it.”
