Every year, hundreds of teachers toil in Chabad schools around the world, dedicated to realize their students’ potential.
When they hit a bump in the road, why should they have to deal with it alone?
Now, for the first time in our community, the Menachem Education Foundation is offering a teacher’s dream come true: Eitzah, a free Chinuch hotline. Instead of re-inventing the wheel or feeling alone in a challenging profession, a teacher can now send off an email to be matched to a star Mechanech(es) who has been in their shoes.
MEF thanks the 25 teachers, spanning various grade levels and areas of expertise, who have agreed to provide this voluntary service. As the Mitteler Rebbe said, when two Yidden get together they are two G-dly souls against one animal soul – and much more equipped to face challenges together. This is true for even the most experienced teacher.
Teachers who will be giving advice include Rabbi Tzvi Barnet, Rabbi Yaacov Eckhaus, Rabbi Simcha Frankel, Rabbi Avrohom Granat, Rabbi Yossi Goldstein, Rabbi Mendel Moscowitz, Rabbi Pinchos Rapoport, Rabbi Eli Rothman, Rabbi Zalman Schapiro, Rabbi Moshe Schwartz, Rabbi Shmuel Shneur and Rabbi Yaacov Roth.
As well as Mrs. Chani Brod, Mrs. Chany Carlebach, Ms. Chanale Chanin, Mrs. Sarah Chuzhin, Mrs. Nomi Freeman, Mrs. Chana Friedman, Mrs. Miriam Gerber, Mrs. Hindy Kalmenson, Mrs. Devora Leah Smith, Ms. Baily Vail, Mrs. Aviva Wasser, Mrs. Dobba Webb and Mrs. Esther Zeidman.
“A situation in my classroom had been bothering me for some time,” said Rabbi Simcha Frankel, a melamed in Los Angeles, CA. “Finally, I reached out to Rabbi Rothman, and we were able to resolve it together!”
Simply email [email protected] to be matched to another teacher, and be well on your way to a more successful school year!
