A new Tanya was printed at the Chabad Center in Rhodes, Greece, led by Shliach Rabbi Uri Medina.
Rabbi Medina leads Chabad of Rhodes, a Greek Island which is a popular tourist attraction. The Chabad House is a bustling center that is continuously swarming with tourists from around the world.
With the assistance of four bochurim from Brunoy Yeshiva, Chaim Garelik, Yehuda Rapoport, Moshe Altschul, and Fitche Lubin, a Tanya printing was arranged.
The event was attended by many Jews from all sorts of backgrounds including men, women and children – Chassidishe, locals, and French and Israeli ex-pats.
Rabi Uri Medina started off the event by explaining the significance and importance of the printing, there was dancing and a very joyous atmosphere among all attendees.
The event concluded with learning Perek lamed beis, as per the Rebbe’s instruction for Tanya printings.
