For the first time in history, Chayolei Tzivos Hashem has launched a world-wide Tanya Bal Peh campaign. The global organization unveiled the new, easy-to-use system, to the eyes of an estimated thirty thousand men, women and children at the Great Parade. The campaign is the precious undertaking of the Deitsch family, in loving memory of their dear son and brother, Nosson obm, whose first Yartzeit was on Lag B’omer.
“What’s happening here is huge!” Says Tzivos Hashem director, Rabbi Yerachmiel Benjaminson. “We’re talking about thousands of Chayolim of all ages committing to learn a set amount of lines per week, until they reach the age of Bar/Bas Mitzva.”
But from all the ways they could have honored Nosson’s memory, one might ask what propelled the Deitsch family to spearhead a Tanya Bal Peh campaign for Chayolim?
“In order to answer that question” says Rabbi Benjaminson, “You first have to understand what kind of individual Nosson was; where his passion truly sprung to life.”
In addition to the tremendous Ahavas Yisroel he possessed for every Jew, it is well known that throughout his lifetime, Nosson kept on challenging himself further and further to memorize, and continueisly review, all 53 perakim of Tanya.
And therein lies the answer to the above question; This new and unique system allows the average Chayol to continuously push him or herself on what they can accomplish; to continue raising the bar of the goals he or she wishes to meet, very similar to the manner in which Nosson did so all the days of his accomplished life.
