Over 100 people attended a farbrengen at Sydney’s North Shore Chabad House marking Gimmel Tammuz.
The event, organized by bochurim Shluchim Ari Kapeluschnik and Lavi Klein, was opened with inspirational and personal reflections about the Rebbe and Gimmel Tammuz by Rebbetzin Fruma Schapiro.
Following a 3 course meal, Rabbi Yosef Malkin from Beitar Ilit, Israel addressed the crowd about the Rebbe’s approach to dealing with relationships, being true to ourselves and making Moshiach something we want for positive reasons.
The event continued with a video of the Rebbe and live music by Eli Leinkram.
Lastly, the evening was closed with a request for all present to write to the Rebbe in honor of Gimmel Tammuz and to give the Rebbe a gift of accepting upon oneself an additional Mitzvah in honor of this auspicious occasion.
