This past Sunday night, the whole Sydney community: Shluchim, Rabbonim, and community members from many synagogues across Sydney, came together for the 18th anniversary of Gimmel Tammuz.
Rabbi Mendel Gluckowsky was brought down to talk, lecture, and inspire the Mosdos of Sydney, which he did unbelievably well, highlighted by this great community farbrengen in the Yeshiva Centre.
Rabbi Gluckowsky of the Chabad Rabbinical Council of Israel and Chabad Rabbi of Rechovot, Israel is known throughout the world as a dynamic orator, and is renowned for his knowledge and fluency in the Rebbe’s letters – the Igros Kodesh.
The event started with a full course dinner and L’Chaims, complete with chicken, rice, many salads, fruit platters and cake.
Divrei Brochah were said by Rabbi Yosef Feldman, Menahel of the Yeshiva Centre – Chabad Headquarters in NSW on behalf of the Morah Deasrah Rabbi Pinchos Feldman, Head Shliach of the Rebbe to NSW who is currently in NY.
A video of the Rebbe was shown, and Rabbi Shmuel Feldman – Menahel Gashmi of the Yeshiva thanked all the generous sponsors, and finally the crowd heard from Rabbi Gluckowsky, who Farbrenged until 2:00 AM.

Sydney has seen some very hard times, what yossy & sheina has been able to accomplish during teh hardest times of all is a miracle, Achdus always prevail, although the sydney Anash has failed to recognize the self sacrifice untill now , now is the time to unite and cross back over the bridge from tzmach tzedek to yeshivah, give yossey a hug and a big check !

The world must salute Rabbi Yossie & Sheina Feldman for his mesiras nefesh in establishing and keeping the Cheder open, its mamash mesiras nefesh to the highst degree, the chinuch offerd to the children is Al Taharas Koidesh better then the best of Yeshivas can offer. They need a big brocha so they can continue the wonderfull avoidah with out the worry of moeny any longer. the cheder must grow and prosper …..there is no other option.. the Rebbe wants this moised to exsit and to produce ehrliche chassidim and yarei shamayim. please support Rabbi yossey with what ever you… Read more »

Was such a beautiful event which brought the community together collectively looking for ideas and answers. There were rumors of Yossis new shlichus to Long Bay.
