Heathrow Airport sees thousands of planes take off and land daily as one of the busiest international airports in the world.
This week, pop-up Sukkahs were made available for Jewish travelers, courtesy of Chabad.
In his quest to improve services for the community and make things easier for people using Heathrow Airport, Rabbi Hershi Vogel, Director of Chabad of West London and Rav of Ealing United Synagogue, arranged for the busy airport to have its own Sukkahs.
Rabbi Vogel, who is the Jewish Chaplain of Heathrow Airport, arranged for pop-up sukkot to be available in various Terminals of the airport.
Rabbi Vogel also assisted the airport’s manager at El Al, as well as the El Al staff, to partake in the Mitzvah of Lulav.
Rabbi Vogel is a life saver.
