BS”D to # 1it has to do with self confidence which is an important attribute in ones life as an Orthodox Jew, For its own sake you might have a point of view so I would discount # 4’s comment who probably never read a page of Tanya

Am I being old-fashioned or something? I mean, if you want to workout for the purpose of general health, fine. But, for the purpose of getting so strong – is that really a proper way for a woman?
