Various street closures are in effect this week on main thoroughfare Kingston Avenue between Eastern Parkway and President Street as city crews continue the final phase of construction in the area.
Work resumed this week following the busy Tishrei month, with concrete pouring and resurfacing already underway.
Drivers should expect daytime closures on Kingston Avenue between Eastern Parkway and Union Street, and on President Street from Albany Avenue to Kingston Avenue. Traffic is being redirected at several intersections, and motorists are advised to plan alternate routes and allow for extra travel time.
The project, which has been progressing in stages over the past months, aims to complete long-awaited infrastructure improvements and restore smoother roadways across this busy section of Crown Heights.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of next week.

And in a few weeks they will be at it again. Can the road be paved straight so you can drive in it perhaps not like the last time
Absolutely not. your asking too much.
they need to do a shoddy patch job and then dig it up in 3 months.
and then repeat the cycle…
our tax hikes need to be spent somewhere….
We are living in 2025. There is no reason why we can’t get a notice the day before what streets are gonna be closed so we can all get to work on time and get our kids to school on time.
Those that are in the know please take care of this.
Thank you so much
Crown Street is also getting repaved this week
