This Purim marks the 11th Yahrzeit of CSSY ‘s founder Shimshon Stock obm. His love and devotion to the Crown Heights community especially to the poor, widows, and orphans was unparalleled.
His Yarzeit on Purim is a reminder of his famous saying “take out your wallet take out a dollar and give CSSY the rest.” The Gemara says that on Purim “Kol Haposhet Yad Nosim Lo – anyone who asks you need to give.” There are hundreds of families in our Crown Heights community waiting with open hands for your help so please open your hearts and wallets “take out a dollar and give CSSY the rest”
Stop by the Stock porch all day Purim to donate your Matanos L’evyonim at 593 Montgomery St (between Brooklyn and Kingston) or donate online at www. Cssy.org/donate

Every dollar was collected by him personally; no GoFundMe. He worked tirelessly to help others without technology or support staff.
Thank you Shimshon for all you did to sustain other and also for the beautiful Shiduchim that you made!!
Let us also remember Martha, his dear tzedekis, who was his helpmate and eshes Chayil who was enabling him and helping him to do his Holy work
Let us remember this wonderful man who helped so many in so many ways. May his family continue to sustain, (thank you Benji) his legacy of helping those who need it.
Shimshon’s chessed is unparalleled. He singlehandedly supported so many materially, emotionally and spiritually. May his Neshama have an Aliyah and bring about Chessed and Geula.
