The Soulwise Magazine by Chabad of Cypress has included a “How-to Passover by Yourself,” a step-by-step guide to a Seder in quarantine.
Editors will be printing an extra 45,000 holiday magazines to help people run a Seder themselves, and will be available to ship nationwide.
With public seders in question, Chabad is preparing for helping people celebrate at home. The new Soulwise magazine will allow Chabad Houses to mail out thousands of how to Passover by Yourself Guides.
“Many public seders to be canceled,” editor Rabbi Shmuel Marcus told COLlive. “So we created a magazine that will walk readers through the Seder and provide extra inspiration.”
The Chabad Holiday Magazine has updated its Passover issue to include step-by-step instructions for people unable to attend a Public Seder.
These include a simple “how to plate the Seder plate” and easy to follow directions on how to conduct a meaningful Seder while in quarantine.
The totally customizable magazine is published by local Chabad centers and will include a “sale of chametz form envelope” along with Passover Inspiration from Chabad philosophy.
The issue will also feature a Chasidic Reader Edition that will help readers understand why Chabad does what it does and how this Chabad way of thinking actually changed the world.
