Two people have been stabbed by in an Arab terrorist on Friday morning in Jerusalem, Israeli news media reported.
The first happened near the Damascus Gate in the old city of Jerusalem where a 50-year-old man was stabbed.
The victim was rushed to the Shaarei Tzedek hospital with critical wounds.
A second attack happened shortly afterward near the historic Hurba synagogue. An 18-year-old man was stabbed as well and is suffering from light wounds.
Police said it was the same terrorist who is responsible for both attacks and that he has been neutralized.
United Hatzalah volunteer Mordechai Oved, who was one of the first responders at the scene, said: “Together with other EMS volunteers I treated a man with a stab wound in his upper body. After receiving initial treatment at the scene, the man was transported to the hospital for further care in serious condition.”
