As spring unfolds and Chol Hamoed Pesach approaches, the Daniella Moffson Friendship Circle Online is gearing up to bring the magic of spring camp directly to Jewish children with special needs through its highly anticipated Virtual Spring Camp.
Friendship Circle Online’s Virtual Spring Camp is more than just a series of zoom calls. Before the fun begins, campers receive a special welcome package filled with engaging materials to bring the virtual camp experience to life. Daily emails keep parents informed with schedules and a list of everyday household items needed for each activity.
“For many families, the busy Yom Tov season can be overwhelming, especially for children with special needs,” said Bracha, the camp director. “Friendship Circle Online’s Virtual Spring Camp provides a fun, engaging, and tailored experience that helps alleviate the anxiety and uncertainty that often comes with this time of year.”
Each day of the camp kicks off with a warm welcome from Kayla, camp coordinatorm, followed by a “show and tell ” moment where campers can share their favorite treasures, sparking conversations and building friendships that go beyond the virtual space. Campers then choose their own adventure, venturing into the “Craft Room” for creative fun or diving into the “Game Room” for interactive activities.
The camp’s entertainment extravaganza includes learning to craft airy balloon flower crowns, enchanting story time, a Shabbos party with Morah Shifra, and even group spring planting fun. Campers also team up to solve puzzles, crosswords, and play Bingo, promoting teamwork, laughter, and learning.
Friendship Circle Online is more than just a camp; it’s a community where Jewish children with special needs can thrive, learn, make lasting friendships, and celebrate Pesach.
The Daniella Moffson Friendship Circle Online is an online program for special needs children run by Friendship Circle International.
