Last Sunday, the Morristown community celebrated the welcoming of a new Sefer Torah, dedicated by Rabbi and Mrs. Shalom Spalter, in honor of their parents. The event drew relatives, members of the community, bochurim of Tomchei Temimim and Tiferes Bachurim.
The writing of the final letters began at the Spalter home, followed by a lively parade with music and dancing en route to the Rabbinical College of America, where joyous Hakafos and celebrations continued in the beautiful Tomchei Temimim zal.
Marking the occasion, a special new edition of the Shaarei Shalom was released, featuring Haaros U’Biurim on the Rebbe’s Haggadah authored by Rabbi Spalter. Copies of this newly published sefer will soon be available in local bookstores.
