A Farbrengen event attended by Bais Shmuel Chabad and volunteers of the Released Time program was hosted by NCFJE at the Jewish Children’s Museum on Tuesday evening.
The Global Yud Shvat Farbrengen was live-streamed to unite the Chabad community around the world in the spirit of Hakhel and was a beautiful evening filled with connection, song, and the varemkeit unique to a chassdishe farbrengen.
NCFJE hosted the Farbrengen with a 2-hour program emceed by Rabbi Yossy Gordon, and featuring inspiring talks from Rabbi Yosef Chaim Kantor and Rabbi Moshe New. Their inspiring words were interspersed with soul-stirring niggunim played by a string quartet led by Yonasan Rothman.
The formal program was followed by a spirited Farbrengen which went on late into the night.
The farbrengen was hosted by NCFJE which has a close connection with Yud Shvat, being one of the first Mosdos established by the Frierdiker Rebbe upon his arrival in America and merited to have the Rebbe’s personal involvement.
The Farbrengen was held to benefit the Released Time Program from NCFJE.
